Spring Blushes

Spring-Blushes-Benefit-Sleek-Topshop

Last season, I did a post on my Winter Blushes, so it's only fair that I do a post for Spring. I only just realised that some one of the blushes in that post is in this post as well - oops! There are also some cream blushes in this post as they are perfect for Spring!

Benefit Fine One One Blush Trio // full review Here
I absolutely love this blush. It is amazing and such a unique product! It is in a stick form and has three shades, an orange, coral pink and a shimmer highlight. As it is Benefit, it is slightly more expensive than the other products, but I think this is one of those products where you really do get what you are paying for because the products is so impressive! You simply swipe this across your cheeks and blend, it blends easily and gives your cheeks a natural flush of colour. Talking about 'flush' that leads on to the next product!

Topshop Cream Blush in 'Flush' // full review Here
I think this has to be my favourite out of all of the blushes in this post, purely because this blush is such a stunning shade and the formula is incredible. You can read the post I have done on it before for more detail, but it is a cream to powder finish so it lasts quite a long time. It blends and applies like a dream and I can't even explain how beautiful the colour is. If you haven't tried any of the Topshop Cream Blushes then what are you waiting for?!

Sleek Blush in 'Pixie Pink'
Unlike the other blushes in this post, this Sleek blush is a powder blush. It may look very vibrant and bold, but it does come out very natural once on the cheeks. It's such a pretty pink which is perfect for Spring because to me, Spring is all about pink. When people ask me what drugstore blushes I would recommend, I always say Sleek because they have a range of shades which are all stunning.

Everyday Spring Makeup

everyday spring makeup

everyday spring makeup

I haven't ever actually done an 'Everyday Makeup' post suprisingly. So I've decided I want to do more of them, probably one for each season as that is when my makeup tends to change. Now that it is officially spring, the makeup I've been wearing everyday has changed a lot since winter! The makeup I go for mainly consists of dewy skin with pink lips and cheeks. I don't wear this to school, but as I am writing this it's half-term so this is what I tend to go for when I am going somewhere!

To get dewy and glowing skin, I have been loving using the Benefit That Gal primer as it is quite a brightening primer - perfect for spring! I'm not really one for wearing full coverage, heavy foundations. So most days I will just wear concealer, my go to concealer is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer and I usually put this under my eyes to brighten that area; and on any blemishes. If I am going to go for a foundation, I will probably go for something really light weight as I don't like the feel of thick and heavy foundation on my skin, but I would probably wear a BB Cream as they feel so light and nice on my skin. The Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream is really nice if you're looking for a light-weight base product because it is natural yet still provides a light coverage. I then just set that all using the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to make sure it lasts all day. I love wearing cream blushes in Spring time, my current favourite is the Benefit Fine One One Blush Trio (full review here!)

I tend to use the Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil most days, whether its spring or winter, to fill in my eyebrows. I do this quite lightly as I don't like my eye brows being too dark, especially as I have quite naturally dark eyebrows anyway. My all time favourite drugstore mascara is the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes (full review here). It is so lengthening and non-clumpy and is perfect for everyday wear. I also might just put a bit of nude eyeliner in my water liner to brighten my eyes, this one is the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl

Finally, for lips, this tends to change depending on what I want to wear that day. But recently I have been wearing the Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart quite a lot because it's a nice sheer pink shade that isn't too bold, still quite natural. So that is what my everyday makeup look for spring looks like. I hope you enjoyed this post, thank's for reading!

Rose Gold Loving

I feel like spring is the time for me to whip out the pastel pinks, the natural nudes etc. But this year I've noticed myself wearing a lot more Rose Gold shades. It's such a spring like shade so I thought I would show you my favourite Rose Gold make up pieces for this spring!

The Eyes
The trend for Rose Gold eyes started when the Naked 3 palette was released. So many more brands brought out their own versions of the pink toned eyeshadows. However, if the Naked 3 palette is a little bit pricey for you and you are looking for a cheaper alternative, the w7 In the Nude Palette is a great dupe and I have a post all about this palette here. The colours are all gorgeous and there is a mix of shimmers and mattes. The packaging is also insanely similar to the Urban Decay palette! Something that I have rediscovered recently in my makeup is the No7 eyeshadow in Antique Rose. It is a stunning pink with gold shimmer. I love products that are quick and easy to use, so I especially love the Collection Eye Crayon in Vintage Blush. It glides and blends really easily and looks so natural on your eyes,

The Blush
Undoubtedly, I have chosen to include the Sleek blush in Rose Gold which is included in the Sleek Contour Palette. The blush in this palette is such a stunning pink with gold shimmers, which gives the blush a highlighting effect, perfect for spring!

The Lips
Going along with the rose golds and shimmery pinks, I have been loving the Revlon Lacquer Balm in Demure. I have mentioned these lip crayons so much on my blog so I don't want to go on about them too much. But the formula of this is so lovely, it is nice and sheer which makes it more natural to wear.

As you can see, I have a little obsession with rose gold makeup at the moment. What are your favourite trends for this spring?

Top Pink Products for Spring

One of my favourite colours to wear in Spring is Pink. It just seems like such a spring appropriate colour, corals and brighter neon colours are more summer. But neutral and pastels are always in for spring! I have put together my favourite pink products that are perfect for this spring.

Blush and Eyes

My favourite brand for when it comes to blushes is definitely Sleek. The products are amazing quality and really pigmented. I have the Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink. It's a gorgeous bright pink that is just the right pigmentations, by this I mean it isn't too bright but not too subtle. Just right!

The other blush in the photo is from Topshop and its a cream blush in the shade Flush. It's a cream to powder formula so it blends nicely and gives your cheeks a nice pink flush, hence the name :D

I have a little eyeshadow that is so pretty, the swatch of it doesn't show how stunning it is in real life! It's from No7 in Antique Rose and is a lovely gold and pink eyeshadow. It is nice and shimmery but also very natural at the same time!

Lips

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you may know that I do love my pink lispticks. I find them so easy to wear and they can suit anyone with any skin tones! For this post I decided to pick out my most pink lipsticks that would be perfect for spring. Most of my favourite lip products are from Revlon, so I have included the Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive. This is a gorgeous medium toned pink, its so natural and is also really creamy and not at all drying.

I also love the Revlon Lip Butters and I chose the shade Strawberry Shortcake. The lip butters from Revlon are so hydrating and feel like lip balms, this shade is a light nude pink and is such a nice spring shade.

I think MAC lipsticks are such amazing quality so I couldn't not include it in this post, its the MAC lipstick in Chatterbox. Again, its a very pretty everyday pink. Finally, to change things up a bit I have included a lip gloss.

It is the Tanya Burr lipgloss in Aurora. I absolutely love this lip gloss, especially the name. Its actually very good quality and I have a whole post dedicated to it here.

Brushes

I know, I know, I only chose these brushes because of their pink packaging. But it was too pretty to ignore and just fitted nicely with the post! So from top to bottom in the picture (they are all from Real Techniques by the way, I'll just tell you the name of the brush.) Multitasking Brush which I use for powder and sometimes blending in foundation, Setting Brush which I use to blend my under eye concealer and the Stippling Brush which I love to use for foundation.

So those are my top pink products for spring. I hope you enjoyed this post and tell me your Top Spring Products in the comments below! Thank you for reading.
