Lip Product Addict Tag

Hey beauties! Today I am going to do the Lip Product Addict Tag which you have probably seen floating around in YouTube and blogs. There are 8 questions all about lip products, so let's begin!

1. Favourite balm/treatment
I'm going to have to say my trusty aloe Vera vaseline. Whenever my lips are becoming chapped and need some treatment, I always return to this as it really helps my lips.

2. Best eye-catching red
I don't actually own any red lipsticks but I have something close to it. It is the Revlon Colourburst Lipstick in Coral. This lipstick is a orangey red that is very close to a red and is very bold and flattering.

3. Best luxury & best drugstore
I only own 2 luxury products which is two MAC lipsticks. So my best luxury lipstick would be my MAC lipstick in Speak Louder. My best drugstore... This is more difficult than I thought but I'm going to have to say the Revlon Lacquer Balms, I just love the formula and the shade range so much!

4. Best MAC lipstick
Well this is pretty much the same answer as above, my best MAC lipstick is Speak Louder. It's like a medium pinky red and I love it so much!

5. The most disappointing
My most disappointing is probably the Sleek Matte me lip creams. I don't know if this is just my shade though, I have the shade petal and I just find it to be so drying and patchy. Not nice, but at first they look alright but after a few minutes they begin going flaky.

6. Liner - yes or no?
Personally, I have to say no as I don't actually wear lip liners and I don't own any.

7. Best Gloss
I really like the Barry M lip glosses as they are not sticky at all and they smell amazing. Also the colour range is really good, there are some nudes and some bolds.

8. Something Extra
I would like to mention the Kate Moss Lip Stick in 08 as it is my perfect lip colour. My lips are naturally quite dark and mauvey toned so this lipstick is like a my lips but better colour. I have a review on this here so you can check that out!

So that was the Lip Product Addict Tag, if you have read this then I tag you to do it! Thanks for reading and hope you have a nice day, bye!

Sweetie Pie Lush Box

Hey beauties! Today's blog post is going to be about the Sweetie Pie Lush Box. My best friend gave this to me as it was my birthday on Thursday. I am so grateful for it and I would just like to say thank you so much!

It is an octagonal shape and is pink with a yellow, orange and white floral pattern with yellow ribbon. When I opened it, the smell was so enchanting and dreamy and smells like heaven. I cannot begin to describe how excited I am to use this. Inside it contains 7 different lush products. There is the Shimmy Shimmy Glitter Bar, Think Pink Bath Ballistic, Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly, Sunnyside Bubble Bar, Creamy Candy Bubble Bar, Rock Star Soap and the Space girl Bath Ballistic.

I am very excited to use the shower jelly as it is something I have not tried out before, as well as the glitter bar. I have tried the Think Pink and Space Girl bath bombs and I actually loved them. Space girl is one of my favourites so I am looking forward to using that again. The rock star soap smells incredible as well, very sweet and girly. The bubble bars are also very intriguing, especially the Sunnyside bubble bar as it is very glittery so I would love to see how that comes out as! I have also heard many lovely things about the creamy candy bar so I can imagine my bath being very bubble and creamy as it contains almond oil and cocoa butter so that should be very moisturising.

As you can tell I am very excited about this lush box and I cannot contain my excitement about it. If you have the opportunity to buy this I would recommend it as the choice of products are very good and you get the chance to try out different products. I would just like to thank my best friend, you know who you are :) for giving this to me for my birthday. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a nice day, bye!

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks

Hey beauties! Today's blog post is going to be a review on the Kate Moss lipsticks by Rimmel.I have two which are both from a different range. The one with red packaging is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss and the lipstick with black packaging is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss. For the red one I have shade '101' which is a nude pink and for the black lipstick I have shade '08' which is a mauvey-browny-pink nude colour (I'm not really sure how to describe it!)

When I tested it on my hand, Shade 101 actually looked really nice and I thought it would suit me. However when I wear it now, I feel like it doesn't suit my skin tone and washes me out. But I think with maybe a gloss on top or worn lightly, I might be able to work this lipstick. The formula, however, is very nice and it has a matte finish, hence the name. The smell is rather chemically though but it isn't a bad smell, just not something I have smelt before. It is really pigmented, which would be nicer if I like the colour. Even though this lipstick doesn't work with me, I am determined to buy the shade '107' (a dark vampy red colour) in Autumn/Winter this year as it is a lovely seasonal colour. Overall the Kate Moss Matte Lipsticks are a very nice formula, if you like matte lipsticks that is, however I am not quite happy with how '101' looks on my skin tone. I think this could work with a tan, maybe?

Recently, after admiring photos of Kylie Jenner and her amazing lips, I have been looking for a natural browny, pinky nude. After looking up images of the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 08 on Google, I put it on my wishlist (in my brain, I don't actually keep a list of makeup products I like - though that would be a good idea. Actually I lied, I have a list on my phone haha.) I picked this lipstick up recently as it was like £1.50 off (I got it for £3.99.) I am absolutely in love with this lipstick. It is a perfect natural everyday colour for my skint one and is like a my lips but better colour. If I were to describe it, I would say it is a mix between a mauve, brown, pink and a plum undertone. This doesn't wash me out at all and I am so glad I bought it. The formula  is also really lovely. It goes on smoothly but has a slight matte finish, which can feel a little drying so I use a lip balm before. The smell is nothing like the matte lipstick, this lipstick smells like vanilla (I think.) I definitely recommend this lipstick and I don't think it is raved about that much. If you are reading this quite recently to when I posted it, then definitely head down to a boots while it is £3.99 (originally £5.49.)

The packaging of these lipsticks is very nice and chic. They have a black and red theme and have a Kate Moss signature on the lid. They both retail at £5.49 which is quite a decent price especially for the product you get. As they have matte finishes they can become slightly drying. The shade range is also very nice and varied. Overall I love these lipsticks, but I think I prefer the black packaging ones.

Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed. Have you tried out any of these lipsticks? Tell me what you think in a comment! Have a nice day, bye!

May Favourites

Hello beauties! Another month has flown past and that means it is time for a monthly favourite! I cannot believe it is June already, I am quite excited for this month as it is my birthday on the 19th eeek! Anyway, let's get on with my favourites.

The first thing is a mascara. It is the One by One Mascara by Maybelline. I guess you could say I have a love hate relationship with this mascara as sometimes it doesn't quite work but sometimes I absolutely love it! When I say it doesn't work I mean it comes out clumpy and over the top. But throughout this month i have been loving it because it is very lengthening and makes my lashes look super long.

The next product in my list of favourites is the Real Techniques Detailer Brush. This is usually quite an unpopular brush as it doesn't really do much. However I like to use this as a lip brush to make my lipstick more precise. If I am wearing a bold lip and I need it to look accurate and not messy, I will use this to line my lips precisely. I think it fits really nicely in the corner of my lips.

Skincare-wise, I have began using this Boots a Cucumber Facial Toner to cleanse my face. Firstly I just want to say it smells so refreshing and healthy which is always a bonus. But its also really nice and cool on my skin and has helped to prevent break out.

Music
The XX - Coexist album
Lana Del Rey - West Coast

So that is everything I have loved last month! I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Have a nice day, bye!
