Last Minute Christmas Beauty Gifts

My favourite thing about Christmas is buying and choosing presents to buy for family and friends. Personally, I prefer buying for girls (especially when they like beauty that makes it 10x more fun haha!) So I thought I would do a gift ideas under £15 post so you can pick up any last minute presents that you forgot to buy! Also as these are presents for her, they will mainly be beauty!

Barry M Eye shadow and Blush Palettes
These palettes contain 6 eye shadows and 1 blush shade. I recently picked up the Starry Eyed palette and I am IN LOVE with it, very autumnal and the shades are gorgeous. The Natural Glow Palette is also very nice and will suit anyone as the colours are very wearable, that is if they like eye shadows of course! The packaging of these palettes are also very pretty and are great for £6.50!

Victoria Secret Sprays
These photogenic sprays are perfect for any girl who loves fragrances! They aren't too expensive and also smell incredible. My favourite scents are Mango Temptation, Pure Daydream and Love Spell.

Revlon Lip Butters
I'm sure any girl won't mind little presents like lipsticks in their stocking, the Revlon lip butters are a great way to go! There are so many shades to suit any skin tones, there are nudes to dark berry shades. My favourites are Strawberry Shortcake (a pale pink), Sorbet and Berry Smoothie. They are so pigmented and moisturising, I haven't even mentioned how gorgeous the packaging is!

Soap and Glory
Every year boots sell Christmas edition gift sets of soap and glory and their sets are lovely! My friend got me this for Christmas and it contains minis of the best products! Also the box is really cute and this is such a lovely present that I'm sure anyone will enjoy!

Barry M Nail Varnish
If I received these cute Barry M Nail Varnishes I'd be very happy! The colours are stunning and the quality of them are really good as well! I prefer the Gelly Hi-Shine ones to the original ones as I think the formula is better quality! They are also about £3.99 which is an amazing price.

Lip Balms - Baby Lips/ Barry M/ Nivea
Mostly everyone uses lip balms so they're an easy present to get! Especially if you area just getting someone something small, some lip balms would be cute! I really like the Body Shop Lip butters because they're hydration and smell incredible!

Lip Product Addict Tag

Hey beauties! Today I am going to do the Lip Product Addict Tag which you have probably seen floating around in YouTube and blogs. There are 8 questions all about lip products, so let's begin!

1. Favourite balm/treatment
I'm going to have to say my trusty aloe Vera vaseline. Whenever my lips are becoming chapped and need some treatment, I always return to this as it really helps my lips.

2. Best eye-catching red
I don't actually own any red lipsticks but I have something close to it. It is the Revlon Colourburst Lipstick in Coral. This lipstick is a orangey red that is very close to a red and is very bold and flattering.

3. Best luxury & best drugstore
I only own 2 luxury products which is two MAC lipsticks. So my best luxury lipstick would be my MAC lipstick in Speak Louder. My best drugstore... This is more difficult than I thought but I'm going to have to say the Revlon Lacquer Balms, I just love the formula and the shade range so much!

4. Best MAC lipstick
Well this is pretty much the same answer as above, my best MAC lipstick is Speak Louder. It's like a medium pinky red and I love it so much!

5. The most disappointing
My most disappointing is probably the Sleek Matte me lip creams. I don't know if this is just my shade though, I have the shade petal and I just find it to be so drying and patchy. Not nice, but at first they look alright but after a few minutes they begin going flaky.

6. Liner - yes or no?
Personally, I have to say no as I don't actually wear lip liners and I don't own any.

7. Best Gloss
I really like the Barry M lip glosses as they are not sticky at all and they smell amazing. Also the colour range is really good, there are some nudes and some bolds.

8. Something Extra
I would like to mention the Kate Moss Lip Stick in 08 as it is my perfect lip colour. My lips are naturally quite dark and mauvey toned so this lipstick is like a my lips but better colour. I have a review on this here so you can check that out!

So that was the Lip Product Addict Tag, if you have read this then I tag you to do it! Thanks for reading and hope you have a nice day, bye!

The Body Shop Lip Balms Review

Hey beauties! Today I thought I would review the Body Shop lip balms! I have quite a few of these, 5 to be precise. The flavours I have are Passionberry, Strawberry, Raspberry, Watermelon and Satsuma. As you can see Passionberry and Strawberry have different packaging because it is the old packaging. My sister also has two more flavours which are Mango and Pink Guava, however I am not sure if they still sell these anymore.

The Body Shop are known for their fruity and yummy fragranced products, my personal favourite scent is by far Passionberry, although I love the Mango scent as well. These lip balms certainly have a lovely fruity fragrance. They all smell of what they're called so I'm not going to go into detail about each scent as I'm not very good at describing. They smell amazing and sometimes I just feel like I want to eat it haha!

I think the packaging is super cute, but to be honest I prefer the old packaging. They all match the colour of the product which is in the little pot. I'm not to keen on potted lip balms because the products gets all over your nails and then after you've put it on you have no where to wipe your hands. It's a bit of a mess as my hands are always sticky after I use this.

The actual product is very nice, not so much moisturising but it does make my lips feel glossy. I wouldn't really suggest this if you are looking for a product that can help with dry lips as I feel this lip balm doesn't even do any good to my lips. In fact sometimes I think it actually makes my lips dry which makes me feel the need to put more on. But who knows, that could just be me I'm not sure. For £2 these are very good and affordable. They are also very slightly tinted, but not that much.

I'd say these are more of a lip gloss in a pot than a lip balm and the best thing about them is the scent. So if you are looking for a lip balm that will save your lips from being dry, definitely invest yourself in a Vaseline etc. But these are very cute and smell incredible.

Thanks for reading this blogpost I hope you enjoyed it! Bye!
